Joosten Ellée (*1992), is a violinist and has been artistic director of PODIUM Esslingen since 2021. He is co-founder and concertmaster of ensemble reflektor and a member of the Rothko String Quartet. His musical activities range from the study of historical performance practice to the realization of numerous world premieres and the composition of electronic music. At PODIUM, he regularly realizes projects that deal with diversity, participation and current political issues, for example the projects funded by the German Federal Cultural Foundation such as the TikTok opera OK TANNHAEUSER and SIEBEN LETZTE WORTE - KEIN ERLOESER AM KREUZ.
